Since 2012, the International Garden Photographer of the Year is delighted to announce its continuing collaboration with Schlosspark Dennenlohe and the European Garden Photo Award

The award will include a money prize of €1000 for the three first places to be awarded by Schlosspark Dennenlohe. The winner will be featured in the next International Garden Photographer of the Year book. The winner, as well as the highly commended photographers will participate in the International Garden Photographer of the Year exhibition at castle Dennenlohe and other venues in Bavaria, Germany- which is usually during the spring and summer, but may be the subject of a change.

How to enter:
- The award is open to any photograph entered into any category in IGPOTY.
- Write the words EGPA into the caption of the category you enter.
- This will then be filtered and the EGPA entries will be judged separately. Eligible photographs:
Any photograph taken in any private or public garden in Europe, excluding the United Kingdom. Any subject, in any time of the year, in any year.

Aside from this limitation, the normal IGPOTY rules will be upstanding. See the winner 2022 here

ABOUT US

Castle Dennenlohe was built in 1734 with all its outbuildings and is considered one of the most beautiful baroque ensembles in Bavaria. The castle is surrounded by the largest park in southern Germany and Rhododendron by 25 hectares of landscaped gardens.
